The Meadows Care Options

The Meadows provides several care options for seniors.  The warm home-like setting of our facility and the compassionate care given by our team members, ensures that all of the residents at The Meadows enjoy a rich, purposeful life.

Short Term Rehab Care

care-options-new1Short term rehab care is available at The Meadows for residents and  anyone needing special recovery after a hospital stay.  Many of the patients needing rehab care come directly from the hospital following a stroke, traumatic injury, hip and knee fractures, or surgery.  The specialized care is designed to aid patients who need additional care and rehabilitation before transitioning back to their home. The Meadows accepts Medicare and select private insurance for skilled nursing care. The Meadows is currently in-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield, HealthSpring, Cigna, Humana, and POMCO.

New at The Meadows, the AlterG Anti-Gravity Treadmill

AlterG-220x139The Meadows Skilled Rehab Center is the first skilled nursing facility in Nashville to install the new AlterG Anti-Gravity Treadmill. This new treadmill is ideal for patients recovering from neurological and orthopedic-related injuries.  The Anti-Gravity Treadmill also provides long-term care patients a way to safely improve their functional mobility and overall health.

Residential Housing for the Aged (RHA)

Residential Housing for the Aged is appropriate for those seniors who value their independence but need some help with daily activities.  Residents can enjoy the privacy of their own spacious room knowing that a staff member is there to help them with their unique individual needs.

Intermediate Nursing Care

The Meadows offers this residential option for patients who cannot live alone and need more supervision that in-home services provide, but who do not need the level of care provided in a skilled nursing home.  We offer a vibrant activities schedule so that our residents remain active, they connect with other people and they feel valued.

Memory Care

Residents with Alzheimer’s disease or other forms of memory lost experience a safe, comfortable and stimulating environment in our Memory Care unit.  We understand that memory loss affects people differently so we focus on the unique needs of each resident so that we provide personalized care that aligns with an individual’s abilities. The memory care wing is secured by the WanderGuard® system

Respite Care

There are times when caregivers need to take a vacation or need a brief respite from caring for the senior in their life. Short-term stays are based on space availability.
